In a continuing effort to provide customers with environmentally conscious products, Foster Printing Service, Inc. has completed the necessary steps to receive FSC Certification (SCS-COC-002971) through Scientific Certification Systems. This certification allows customers to purchase products that meet strict tracking requirements and guarantees that their piece is printed on paper that comes from a well-managed forest.

Foster Printing Service is proud to announce they have received 13 consecutive Gold Medals in the prestigious Gold Ink Awards. The Gold Ink Awards are considered by many printing and production pros to be the industry's most prestigious awards. Foster took this year’s win with a piece created for CurtCo Robb using the Komori LS640, paper provided by Unisource, and ink manufactured by Flint Group.

Foster Printing Service Announces New Sales Director
Foster Printing Service, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Gene Toepfer to the management staff. Beginning December 1st, Gene will serve as Director of Sales for Foster.
Gene has a diverse background in the printing industry. Gene has served the industry as an executive in several major graphic arts firms as well as holding management positions in a variety of sales roles. Gene has also worked in marketing and as a print buyer. He has presented sales seminars around the country, hearing current challenges and imparting tried and effective solutions.
Gene has degrees in Marketing and Business Administration and is a Kellogg School Certified Graphic Arts Marketing Executive.

Foster Printing Service, Inc. is proud to accept 3 Gold Ink awards for 2008. With this honor, Foster has received Gold Ink awards for 12 consecutive years. The Gold Ink Awards are a prestigious honor that was sought out by nearly 1,500 entrants this year. Criteria for award-winning pieces includes quality of printing, technical difficulty and overall visual effectiveness. Winning entries receive special recognition in the October issue of Publishing Executive. In the 2008 Gold Ink Awards, Foster took home the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in the Magazine Reprints category.
